Lead Generation for Fintech: Finance Sign-ups Across Dupple's Newsletters
Finance & Banking sign-ups clicked offer cards at 5.6% in the United States and 9.5% outside it, 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026 (30 days). Quiz data for fintech marketers.
Between 5 Aug and 3 Nov 2026, 9,135 new subscribers chose Finance & Banking in Dupple's post-signup quiz (90 days). Finance & Banking respondents clicked offer cards at 5.6% in the United States and 9.5% outside it (30 days to 3 Nov 2026). Of the 9,135, 13.3% picked Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP as job level and work at 51+ companies.
These are new subscribers to any of Dupple's six newsletters, not the readers of one newsletter, because the quiz has no breakdown by newsletter. Finpresso has 31,000+ subscribers across its whole list, kept separate from the quiz figures. The offer side is described on Lead Generation.
Quick answer
- Finance & Banking is the industry of 9,135 new subscribers, 7.0% of 130,965 quiz answers collected 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days).
- 1,217 of them (13.3%) picked Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP as job level and work at 51+ companies.
- Finance & Banking respondents clicked offer cards at 5.6% in the United States (511 clicks from 9,129 card views) and 9.5% outside it (734 clicks from 7,719), 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026 (30 days).
- Of the 1,217, 211 (17.3%) use a non-consumer email domain over 90 days to 3 Nov 2026, an upper bound for work addresses.
Who signs up from finance and banking
| Quiz segment | People | Decision-makers | At 51+ employees | Decision-makers at 51+ | Share from the United States (known country only) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Finance & Banking, all roles | 9,135 | 30.3% (2,767) | 42.6% | 13.3% (1,217) | 46.8% |
| Finance & Banking with a Finance & Accounting role | 2,673 | 26.3% (704) | 43.4% | 9.8% (261) | 45.3% |
| Finance & Banking with an Executive & Leadership role | 1,125 | 66.0% (742) | 50.0% | 32.0% (360) | 46.4% |
| Finance & Banking with an Engineering, Data or Product role (fintech builders) | 1,206 | 26.2% (316) | 58.8% | 15.8% (190) | 39.2% |
Quiz answers of new subscribers, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days), with n = 9,135, 2,673, 1,125 and 1,206 people by row; Dupple data, read 3 Nov 2026. Decision-maker: a respondent who picked Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP as job level. 51+: a company of 51 or more employees (the quiz sizes 51-200, 201-1000 and 1000+).
The quiz has no fintech or payments option, so the builder row is a proxy, and only 190 of its 1,206 people are decision-makers at 51+ companies. The buyer's guide on fintech and payments works through this row, and Who Signs Up covers all industries.
Click rates in the United States and outside it
An offer card is one offer shown on the post-signup offer wall, in emails or on partner sites; the click rate is clicks divided by card views. In the 30 days from 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026, the network recorded 22,388 clicks from 279,365 card views (8.0%), shown to 37,942 people.
| Quiz segment | People who saw cards | Card views | Clicks | Click rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Finance & Banking, all | 2,481 | 16,894 | 1,245 | 7.4% |
| Finance & Banking, United States | 1,281 | 9,129 | 511 | 5.6% |
| Finance & Banking, outside the United States | 1,188 | 7,719 | 734 | 9.5% |
| Finance & Banking, decision-makers at 51+ (small: n 339) | 339 | 2,215 | 206 | 9.3% |
| Technology, United States (reference) | 3,694 | 27,362 | 1,358 | 5.0% |
| Technology, outside the United States (reference) | 4,105 | 26,217 | 2,376 | 9.1% |
Click rate is clicks per card view, not a lead rate, and rows under 500 people are small samples. The United States and outside rows cover 2,469 of the 2,481 people in the first row. Dupple data, read 3 Nov 2026.
The gap is measured in this data, and this page does not explain it. Example target, not a forecast: 300 clicks would need 5,358 card views from United States respondents (300 divided by 5.6%, rounded up) and 3,158 from respondents outside the United States (300 divided by 9.5%, rounded up), about 1.70 times as many views.
Work email addresses are an upper bound
Non-consumer email: the sign-up address is not on one of about 50 consumer mailbox providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and the like), so it is an upper bound for a work address. Over the 90 days to 3 Nov 2026, 1,169 of the 9,135 Finance & Banking respondents (12.8%) signed up with such a domain, and so did 211 of the 1,217 decision-makers at 51+ companies (17.3%). Both counts are ceilings: they read the domain, not the person.
How the post-signup flow works
A reader joins a Dupple newsletter and completes a short quiz with fixed options. An offer may then show on the post-signup wall, inside the welcome email, or in the follow-up sequence. A click is not a request for a sales call, and it does not make the reader a marketing-qualified lead (MQL, a lead marketing judges more likely to buy).
A finance advertiser pays for each click (CPC, cost per click) or for each lead (CPL, cost per lead), and the Lead Generation page quotes no figure for either. Applicants send their offer, terms and CPC or CPL; Dupple reviews applications weekly. Use the cost-per-lead model for your own inputs.
How you would target a finance campaign
Rules can filter on country, company size (6 options), role (14 options), job level (8 options) and industry (10 options). Country is set at country level, and strict mode never shows an offer outside the chosen countries. Further levers are device, the newsletter a reader joined, a weekday-only schedule on Eastern Time in the United States, and email domains to leave out.
An offer set to targeted readers only can be seen by readers who match its rules and by nobody else. Under that setting, targeting works on quiz answers, so a reader who left a question unanswered never matches a rule built on that question, and all conditions inside one rule have to hold together. Country is not a quiz question. The Lead Generation page does not say how a country rule handles the 23.7% of the finance group whose country is unknown.
Two example rules fit this buyer:
- Rule A, builders:
- Industry: Finance & Banking
- Role: Engineering & Software Development, Data & Analytics or Product Management
- Company size: 51-200, 201-1000 or 1000+
- Rule B, United States finance leaders:
- Industry: Finance & Banking
- Job level: Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP
- Country: United States, strict
Rule A has no job-level condition, so its base is the 1,206 builders, and a company size of 51 or more keeps 58.8% of them. Rule B has no role condition, so its base is 2,767 finance decision-makers (30.3% of 9,135). This page has no count for Rule B limited to the United States. With both rules on one targeted offer, a reader who matches either rule can see it; the overlap between the two groups is not counted.
Limits
- The quiz covers new subscribers from 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days), not the whole list. Click rates cover 30 days (4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026), so never add a 90-day people count to a 30-day rate. The 9.3% row rests on 339 people, a small sample.
- Twelve finance respondents who saw cards had no known country, and their 46 card views produced no clicks.
- Quiz answers are self-reported from fixed options. 10.7% of finance respondents did not answer company size, and 7.0% did not answer job level.
- Clicks are not leads, and the lead definition is unpublished, so ask Dupple for it. The data holds no click-to-lead ratio.
- No payment volume or company type is in the data, so a bank cannot be told apart from a fintech startup.

FAQ
Is this the audience of Finpresso's readers?
No. The answers come from new subscribers to any of Dupple's six newsletters, with no breakdown by newsletter.
What do the finance click rates show?
Finance & Banking respondents clicked 5.6% of offer cards in the United States and 9.5% outside it, over 30 days to 3 Nov 2026. These are measured rates, not a forecast.
Can I target fintech builders directly?
Not with a fintech option, because the quiz has none. The closest rule combines Finance & Banking with an engineering, data or product role, which covers 1,206 new subscribers over 90 days. Of those, 190 are decision-makers at 51+ companies.
Does the data show what a finance lead costs?
No. The Lead Generation page quotes no CPC or CPL figure. Dupple reviews applications weekly, and each applicant brings an offer with its terms and the CPC or CPL it sends with the application.
