Koyfin Review
Koyfin's free-plan limits, its paid plans and the annual and monthly prices, checked on Koyfin's pricing page in October 2026.
Koyfin is worth paying for once you need its stock and ETF screener or ten years of financials, and that starts at $39 a month on Plus, billed yearly. The free plan costs nothing and keeps 2 years of financials, 2 screens and 2 watchlists, which is enough to test the platform. Premium adds custom formulas and portfolio analytics for a higher rate. The advisor plans are priced for advisory firms.
Read the billing basis before you budget. The page shows annual billing by default, and its monthly option raises Plus to $49 a month and Premium to $110.
This verdict covers cost and features, not investment returns.

- Plus brings 10 years of financials and estimates, the stock and ETF screener, and unlimited watchlists, screens and dashboards.

- The page also lists advisor tiers at $209 and $299 a month billed yearly, which are priced for advisory firms, not personal investors.
KoyfinThe price depends on the billing switch. Koyfin's pricing page shows annual billing by default, so each figure is a monthly rate that assumes a full year of payment. The same plan costs more on monthly billing, and the page shows that higher figure once you switch.

Toolradar data: Koyfin holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating across 133 verified user reviews on G2, as last checked on September 17, 2026.
That score reflects how reviewers rate their experience, not whether the data fits a particular strategy. Our Koyfin profile on Toolradar carries the same aggregate.
Methodology: Koyfin's prices were read on its own pricing page on October 10, 2026, in US dollars.
For the two alternatives we read each vendor's own pricing page the same day, and we compare the billing basis each page shows by default alongside its monthly option. We compare plan limits as the vendors list them. We did not test Koyfin's data, and this page makes no claim about its accuracy.
What is Koyfin?
Koyfin is a web platform for researching stocks, ETFs and the wider market. It puts company financials and estimates, screens, watchlists, charts and dashboards in one place. Paid plans add ETF holdings, press releases, filings, transcripts and premium news.
The product has two audiences. Individual investors buy the Free, Plus and Premium plans. Financial advisors buy Advisor Core and Advisor Pro, and a Teams plan is quoted on request.
Most readers of this page are individual investors, and that buyer needs only the first group.
The advisor tiers add client proposals, model portfolios and custodian connections, which most individuals will not use. If you run an advisory practice, the advisor pricing is the part that matters. If you want an account that invests for you, the robo-advisor ranking covers that product.
If you invest small amounts each month, our Acorns review covers the flat-fee side of that choice, and the investing apps ranking covers the wider market.
How Koyfin works
The free plan stops at history, slots and the screener. The table lists the limits that separate the free plan from Plus, and the point at which most buyers hit each one.
It follows the pricing page as read on October 10, 2026.
| Limit | Free | Plus | Upgrade when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Financial history | 2 years of financials, 1 year of estimates | 10 years of financials and estimates | You need a five- or ten-year trend |
| Stock and ETF screener | Not listed | Included | You screen the market for ideas, not only rerun two saved screens |
| Watchlists and screens | 2 watchlists, 2 screens | Unlimited | You need a third list or screen |
| Custom dashboards | 2 | Unlimited | You want a third dashboard layout |
| Company snapshots | Limited | 100K+ global company snapshots | You research companies beyond a short list |
| News and filings | Limited news | Press releases, filings, transcripts and premium news | You follow filings and earnings calls |
| ETF holdings | Not listed | Included | You check what an ETF owns |
Two triggers decide most upgrades. The screener comes first.
A free user can run two screens, but the stock and ETF screener is listed only under Plus, so anyone building a list of candidates pays from the start. History comes second.
Two years of financials shows recent results but not a full business cycle, which is why the ten-year history is the Plus promise.
The other limits matter less for a small portfolio. Plus removes the caps on watchlists, screens and dashboards, which only bite once you track dozens of names.
Premium adds the formula and analytics layer, and that is a separate reason to buy, not an upgrade you drift into. Our portfolio trackers ranking covers the tools built for holdings rather than research.
Koyfin key features
Koyfin pricing
What each plan costs over a year. On annual billing Plus comes to $468 a year, and Premium to $948. On monthly billing the same two plans cost $588 and $1,320 a year.
Koyfin prints monthly figures only, so those totals are the monthly figure times twelve.
Billing yearly saves $120 a year on Plus and $372 on Premium. Koyfin says annual billing saves up to 30%. The FAQ on its pricing page says the monthly plan is not discounted, so the yearly option is the one to compare.
Confirm the yearly total in checkout before you budget on it, because the page does not print one.
| Product and plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Koyfin Plus | $468 a year | $588 a year |
| Finviz Elite | $299.50 a year | $474 a year |
| Stock Rover Premium | $348 a year | $408 a year |
Advisor prices run higher. Advisor Core is $209 a month billed yearly and $239 monthly.
Advisor Pro is $299 a month billed yearly and $349 monthly. The page offers a major discount to growing advisory firms with less than $100m in assets under management.
On annual billing, Finviz Elite is the cheapest of the three. It costs $299.50 a year, against Stock Rover Premium at $348 and Koyfin Plus at $468.
The three products carry different data, so the price gap is only part of the choice. None of the plan lists on Koyfin's pricing page includes a brokerage account, so you will need a broker to trade.

Who Koyfin is for
Koyfin fits an individual investor who researches stocks and ETFs most weeks and wants a decade of fundamentals. Plus is the plan for that buyer, because it adds the screener, ten years of history and unlimited lists.
The free plan suits someone who wants to check the platform on a few names before paying.
Look elsewhere if your decisions come from charts and trading signals. Koyfin's free plan includes advanced charting, but the paid features it sells are fundamentals, estimates and ETF data.
Our day trading platforms ranking covers the charting-first side of the market.
Pick Finviz Elite if real-time US data matters more than history, and Stock Rover if you want deep fundamentals and portfolio analytics on its $29 Premium tier.
Compare the profiles of Finviz and Stock Rover on Toolradar before you decide, and see the stock screeners ranking for the full field.
Skip Premium unless you already write formulas or build custom templates.
The advisor plans suit a firm with clients, not a personal portfolio. Our portfolio trackers ranking covers the holdings side of the decision.
